Product Overview
LATAFLOAT 250 MORTAR is designed to be used with 3701 MORTAR ADMIX and LATAFLOAT MAT to create the LATAFLOAT system.
The LATAFLOAT system is an innovative floating cement screed floor system comprised of a fibre reinforced cement-based mortar, a polymer fortified liquid additive and a synthetic fabric mesh; it is a highly durable, flexible, thin system for installation of tile, stone, and other finishes.
Due to its chemistry makeup and reinforcement, the system allows for floating screeds with a thickness as little as 1 cm, instead of 4-5 cm required for traditional cement screeds. Since LATAFLOAT allows for installation of new floors without removal of existing flooring, it is ideal for renovations or projects with little down-time, such as shopping centres, grocery stores, and other retail.
